Happy Monday everyone!
I was reading the "what needs to be done" thread, and it got me to thinking about things that I would like to get done. So, being the triple fire sign that I am, I started to think about how to turn these thoughts into simple, immediate actions. Thus this thread. :)
I propose that any of you who are interested post some simple goals that you would like to achieve this week. We're only talking a week here, so I think it would help to keep the goals simple and (most important) attainable, given where you currently are. Saying "I'm going to finish all of my unfinished projects this week" is definitely laudable, but maybe you don't want to put that kind of pressure on yourself and then feel badly when it doesn't manifest. Maybe you'd like be doing morning pages every day - well, that can be difficult if you haven't been doing them at all. Maybe for this week, it's enough to commit to doing 4 or 5 days, then work yourself up to every day.
Next Monday, I'll post a separate thread where we can all check in with each other and see how we did. This tribe has always seemed very encouraging and supportive - let's see if we can help each other stay on track!
So, without further ado, here's my goal: For at least 4 days this week, I'm going to try to practice the piano for 20 minutes or longer.
