What about us?

Tribe.net is officially narrowing our freedom by prohibitting exhibition of sex-oriented material.

How would we, as artists, re-act to that???

Well, we could 'officially narrow' our interactions with Tribe.net, to the point that it's just a weak shadow of what it used to be.

We could just drift off and say "pffffftttt..."

We could also keep on keeping on. Is it really going to have a great impact on everyone?

As an artist, I feel that everyone has a right to exhibit what they want. As an artist, as a PERSON, I feel everyone has the right to view - or NOT view - what they want.

They should be grown up enough to choose for themselves.

But, from what I've heard - it's not the grown-ups they're worried about. It's kids.

It's too bad we're in a society that has so many hang-ups, and so much trouble with sexuality. It's too bad we've got a lot of child molesters, rapists, and other sickos. Does porn cause all those? I don't want to get into it! Do we have hang-ups about sex? DUH!

    Will censorship help?

    OY VEY!

    I can't even believe I'm writing this - it's just such a jumble.

But - keeping it simple - WAY simple. I'm an artist. I do what I want, as long as it harms no others. I re-act to this as I react to anything...I'll wait and see.

If we don't like it - or if I don't like it (as I'm just speaking for myself) - I'LL walk.

    Namaste

boundry's can't be defined until a hypothetical boundry is set up and crossed, when you then have your primer for a difinative boundry, its the artist's will and perception to try and change that boundry!
Blaaa...there is always a way to twist the system and form a way ta do what you believe or imagine!
Having the (man) tell you what you can or cannot do means nothing because it's never a difinative line you cross...it's about 50,000 gray lines!
It's up to us artist's to make the (man) think about the boundry's and if ya cross them, it's up to us artists to make em think twice and realign those boundry's!
Needless ta say, I just smoked a big fat doobie and the (man) say's I should'nt do that! I say fuck'em!
There's alway's away around the system...and It's up ta us ta find the path around the system and turn it into route #66 for all others ta follow! It does'nt matter who finds the path , so long as we all follow!
      Peace!
I hope I've kinda made sense! I blam it on the weed!
