    alive, alive.

i've been meaning to post a post and say hello. i'm new to the group. i've faciliated a few artist way groups, have gone through it about 4 or 5 times. learn something new every time. still have blocks to work out. i notice that it is easier to comprehend the principles than apply them- face the fear and take another step.

i have been slowly working on a play/musical for the last couple of years. i have realized i need to sit with it on a regular basis, whether i feel like it or not. i still get scared and feel overwhelmed.

has anyone done work from "vein of gold". i thought it was a dynamic follow up to "the artist's way".

      Welcome to the group!

I'm currently saving money to import 'the Vein of Gold' and 'Heartsteps', and getting ready to start a third round around 'the Artist's Way'. I have worked through 'Walking in this World' which is apparently tAW on a higher octave, and loved it. Highly reccomended.

I have never been to a live tAW group, but would love to. Maybe we could arrange to do it all together as a group?? I have tried to do that ages ago in a Yahoogroup, but bitter assholes spoilt the atmosphere of trust. :(

Awen, when i started this group, i tried to get a "group" to work through AW together, but for some reason it didn't happen. We'd have to be committed and meet here or somewhere as a almost a chat or as a real chat to discuss the week and how it went, etc. I have been in a live AW group years ago and it was great. I also did a phone conference AW group which was sort of cool, too. I have done it alone and it's not the same.

I am open also to Vein of Gold or Walking in this World group, I have both books. Whatever this group wants, or even a small group of us want to do, I am game. I can sort of facilitate or we can all just work it together and any one can jump in. Just let me know a good start date and how you want to run it...

          Cool, Quiche, cool!!

Who's in with us?? Which of the two do you vote for: tAW or WitW?? (I don't have Vein of Gold -- unless someone has it scanned or something...?)

i don't have 'Walking in this World' or 'Heartsteps'. i'll have to find copies to thumb thru. but i also wouldn't have time to go through a whole program again cuz i'm doing school and work, plus being a v.p. for a local art/dance group- which is a brand new role. I may start up another group locally, however, this summer when school is on a low simmer.

Okay at this point, Awen, it's you and I. If anyone wants to jump in, that'd be great.

So between you and I...at this point...

              which book do you prefer?

do you want to do chats? I have some chat programs, aol, msn, etc. also the posibility of a message board on ez board with a chat on it...

Do you want to meet once a week on a chat or just post here at the end of each week? or ???

              What would work best?

              Let me know...

              I am fairly flexible.

Hm, I prefer 'Artist's Way', and chat for me would be a bit costly. I'd have to go to Rio to catch my book, because I left it at my parents' (I only have WitW here). I plan to go there next month, so we can arrange to start in mid-February, what about it?

                So, I'd prefer:
                - tAW
                - email not chat (but punctual emails!! Every Saturday!!! We need to be committed, right?)
                - starting date in mid-February.

The rest I think it's up to you. What do you say?
